Born in Santa Cruz and shaped by West Coast music, James Westover began writing lyrics around nineteen and has spent decades learning the machinery behind songs, studios, images, computers and creative systems.
The work called DJ Refuzionx grew beyond turntables into songwriting, arranging, production and a catalog that ranges from hip-hop and guitar-driven records to ballads, relationship songs and humor.
Redline Computers, Web Monster, photography, Streetwise Software Online, radio systems and Refuzionx Records are different lanes of the same creative engine: understand the system, solve the problem and make something real.
James now creates from Grand Junction, Colorado alongside his wife JoNi and family, recovering and organizing a lifetime of work while continuing to make new music.
