Streetwise Meta Workstation Privacy Policy

Overview

Streetwise Meta Workstation is designed as a local desktop application for preparing and verifying MP3 metadata.

Data collection

Streetwise Software does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data through the Streetwise Meta Workstation application. The application does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or cloud synchronization.

Local files and processing

MP3 files, embedded artwork, lyrics, metadata, presets, processing results, and exported ZIP packages are handled locally on the user’s Mac. Selected source files are not uploaded to Streetwise Software. The application creates finished output only in locations selected by the user.

Information stored on the device

The application may store preferences, custom presets, recent or favorite genre choices, processed-file counters, and security-scoped folder bookmarks locally on the Mac. This local information supports the user’s workflow and is not transmitted to Streetwise Software.

Support website

When a user opens a Support or Privacy Policy link, the Mac opens the Streetwise Software website in the default browser. The website or hosting provider may process ordinary web-server information such as IP address, browser information, and submitted contact details. That website activity is separate from local MP3 processing.

Data retention and deletion

Because the application does not receive the user’s MP3 files or local application data, Streetwise Software does not retain that information on its servers. Users control local preferences, output files, and ZIP packages on their own Mac.

Children

Streetwise Meta Workstation is a general-purpose audio metadata tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when application features or legal requirements change.
