Repairs, Warranty & Refunds

How cancellations, refunds and changes work.

Effective October 19, 2026

Here is how diagnostics, repairs, parts and refunds work.

Diagnostics and quotes

  • We give you a written quote before any repair. Nothing is repaired or ordered without your approval.
  • Any diagnostic fee is told to you at check-in and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.
  • If we find more problems during the repair, we stop and ask before doing extra work.

Before we start

We are an independent repair shop, not an authorized repair provider for the maker of your device. Before servicing your device we tell you whether we will use new or used parts from a supplier other than the manufacturer, as Colorado law requires. Repairs by an independent shop may affect a manufacturer's warranty.

Parts and repair warranty

  • Parts we install carry the supplier's warranty (usually 90 days), and our labor is covered for 90 days from pickup. If the same fault comes back in that time, we fix it at no labor charge.
  • This does not cover new physical or liquid damage, or software problems not related to the repair.
  • Special-order parts you approved cannot be refunded if you cancel after they are ordered.

Data and backups

Back up your data before you bring a device in if you can. We take care not to touch your files, but repairs can sometimes cause data loss, and we are not responsible for data unless you paid us for a backup or recovery service.

Canceling and refunds

  • Cancel before work starts: no charge except an approved diagnostic fee.
  • If we cannot fix your device, you pay nothing for the repair attempt beyond any agreed diagnostic fee.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Uncollected devices

We contact you when your device is ready. Devices not collected within 60 days of that notice, after at least two further reminders, may be recycled after data is securely wiped, as allowed by law.
