Invoices, payments and A/R aging
Send a clear PDF invoice with your terms and sales tax. When the client pays, record it in two clicks and LedgerPro updates what they owe.
- Partial payments and an A/R aging report
- Sales tax calculated per line

Reports your accountant expects
P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, General Ledger and Trial Balance come straight from double-entry books, in PDF, Excel and CSV, so year-end goes faster.
- Budget vs. actuals on the Business plan
- P&L by class for locations or departments

Bills, vendors and 1099 tracking
Enter bills, attach the receipt or PDF, and pay them on time. Vendors you mark for 1099 are totaled against the $2,000 threshold for 2026 payments.
- A/P aging and bill payments
- Up to 10 receipt attachments per record

Mileage log, sales tax and budgets
Log business trips at the 2026 IRS rate (72.5 cents per mile, editable), see the sales tax you owe by agency, and, on the Business plan, set monthly budgets.
- Mileage deduction report in PDF, Excel or CSV
- Recurring invoices and bills on the Business plan
A QuickBooks Desktop alternative that still speaks QuickBooks
IIF for QuickBooks Desktop, QBO and CSV for QuickBooks Online, QFX for Quicken and OFX for Xero, so your accountant can keep using what they know.
Reports in one click

QuickBooks-ready exports
Chart of accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills and bank registers.
Bank and credit card reconciliation that finishes at $0.00

Run several companies from one login
Keep each business in its own complete set of books and switch between them from the top bar: 2 companies on Pro, up to 25 on Business.

Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, every request is checked against your own account, and you can export or delete everything yourself at any time. No bank passwords are ever asked for.

Frequently asked questions
Is LedgerPro a good QuickBooks alternative?
It is built for small businesses that want simpler books and still need to stay compatible with QuickBooks. LedgerPro exports IIF files for QuickBooks Desktop and QBO or CSV files for QuickBooks Online, so your accountant can import your books.
Does LedgerPro use double-entry bookkeeping?
Yes. Every invoice, payment, bill, bank transaction and journal entry posts balanced debit and credit lines, and every report reads from those lines.
Can I manage more than one business?
Yes. One login can hold several companies (2 on Pro, up to 25 on Business), and each one has its own complete set of books.
Does LedgerPro connect to my bank?
It imports bank and credit card files (CSV, OFX, QFX and QBO) instead of using a live bank feed. Duplicates are skipped automatically.
Does LedgerPro track mileage and 1099 contractors?
Yes. The mileage log uses the IRS standard rate (72.5 cents per mile for 2026, editable), and the 1099 vendor summary uses an editable threshold ($2,000 for 2026 payments).
Does LedgerPro do payroll?
No. LedgerPro handles bookkeeping, invoicing, bills, sales tax and reporting. Use a separate payroll service and record its totals as journal entries.
How much does LedgerPro cost, and is there a free trial?
Pro is $29/month ($290/year) and Business is $49/month ($490/year). Every account starts with a 15-day free trial with no card needed. Plans are paid only, with no free version.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you have not subscribed, your account is locked to export only: you can still sign in and download all of your data (Excel, CSV, PDF, QuickBooks, Quicken and a full backup), subscribe, or delete your account. 7 days later the account and all of its data are permanently deleted, so export what you need first.
