The short version

This website uses Google Analytics only if you agree in the cookie bar at the bottom of the page. If you choose No thanks, or don't choose at all, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set. We never use advertising cookies and we never sell your data.

Changing your choice

Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to bring the cookie bar back and choose again. If you turn analytics off, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

We remember your answer for about six months in your own browser's storage (an entry named swso-analytics-consent). It stays on your device and is not sent to us or to Google. After six months we ask again.

What Google Analytics collects if you agree

• The pages you visit and how long you stay
• Your approximate location, such as your city or region (Google Analytics works this out from your IP address but does not store the IP address)
• Your type of device, browser, operating system and screen size
• How you arrived, for example from a search engine or a link on another site
• Clicks on Buy buttons and app downloads, so we can see which apps people are interested in

We see this as totals and reports that help us improve the site, not as a file about you. Google processes this data for us as our service provider. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, we keep the data for no more than 14 months, and we never use it for advertising. The cookies Google Analytics sets

Only after you click Accept analytics:

• _ga: tells one visitor apart from another, so a return visit isn't counted as a new person. Lasts up to 2 years.
• _ga_ followed by our measurement code: keeps track of the current visit. Lasts up to 2 years.

Other ways to opt out

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Fonts and checkout

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may log the request as described in its own privacy policy, but no cookie is set by our pages for this.

When you buy an app, checkout happens on our payment processor's own page (Stripe), which uses its own cookies to process the payment safely.
