Accessibility Statement
Streetwise Software Online wants everyone to be able to use ShopTorque, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, high zoom or voice control.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The public pages, sign-up, sign-in and the main app screens are checked with the axe-core automated accessibility test at phone (390 pixels) and desktop (1440 pixels) widths, and by hand with a keyboard.
What we have done
- Every page starts with a "Skip to content" link and can be used with a keyboard alone; focus is always visible.
- Text and controls meet color-contrast guidelines in the default theme.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Pages use headings and landmarks, and images and icons have text alternatives or are hidden when decorative.
- The built-in zoom control scales the whole app from 50% to 250%, on top of your browser's own zoom.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limits
- Charts on the dashboard and reports are drawn as images with a text label; the numbers behind them are in the on-screen report tables, which can also be downloaded as Excel or CSV.
- PDF reports are generated as simple, untagged PDFs. The same information is available as accessible on-screen tables and as Excel and CSV downloads.
- Some of the six color themes are decorative choices; if you find one hard to read, switch to the default theme.
- Payment pages are run by Stripe, which publishes its own accessibility information.
