The kinds of makers we stock

We carry a short list of builders we trust, with a soft spot for small shops and gear made in the Mountain West.

01

Small-batch glass rods

Hand-wrapped fiberglass rods from independent builders. Slow, forgiving and perfect for Grand Mesa brookies.

02

Mountain West outerwear

Layers designed for high-desert swings in temperature, from dawn frost to afternoon sun.

03

Locally tied flies

Patterns tied by valley guides who fish them, not mass-produced imports.

04

Optics built for rough country

Binoculars and scopes from makers with solid manufacturer warranties. Ask us how each brand's warranty works.

Licenses & Regs

Licenses without the guesswork.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife sells fishing and hunting licenses online. We don't sell licenses, but we're happy to help you sort through it at the counter: which license you need, the special regulations on local water, and the right game management unit.

  1. Tell us your plan

Resident or nonresident, which river or unit, and how many days.

  2. We find the right license

Fishing, small game, over-the-counter tags or leftover draws.

  3. Know the rules

Catch-and-release stretches, bag limits and seasonal closures, explained in plain English.
