Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.
Effective October 19, 2026
This policy explains what information Summit Home Restoration ("we", "us") collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact or request form we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, the topic you pick, your preferred day or time, your message, and a record that you agreed to this policy. We only ask for what we need to answer you.
- Server logs. Like every website, our web server briefly records technical details of each visit: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. By default this site sets only a strictly necessary session cookie that protects our form from forgery and keeps our own staff signed in to the site's admin. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, give you a quote or schedule the work or order you asked about.
- To keep records of what we agreed with you.
- To protect the website and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business (for example our website host and email provider), only as needed for that job, or when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our ordinary business records, normally no longer than 24 months, unless we have an ongoing job or the law requires longer (for example tax records). Server logs are kept for a short time, normally no more than 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email estimates@example.com or call (970) 555-0148. We will reply within 45 days and may need to confirm who you are first.
Colorado residents. The Colorado Privacy Act applies only to businesses above certain size thresholds, and a small local business like ours may fall below them. We honor these rights anyway. If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer; if you are still unhappy you can contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as your choice to opt out. We do not sell data or use it for targeted advertising in any case.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS, keep form messages in a private area of the website that is not publicly reachable, limit who can sign in, and keep our software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or passwords through the form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update it here and change the effective date below.
